The online MLSS (sludge concentration) analyzer is an online monitoring instrument designed to measure the concentration of suspended solids in municipal sewage and industrial wastewater treatment processes. It can be applied to detect the change of activated sludge concentration in biochemical treatment process, and provide continuous and accurate measurement results.
Measuring principle:
Sludge concentration (MLSS) is the number of milligrams of the net weight of dry sludge suspended and mixed per unit volume in the aeration zone in the activated sludge method. Sludge concentration analyzer is an online analysis instrument designed to measure the concentration of suspended solids in municipal sewage or industrial wastewater treatment process. It is used to detect the concentration of sludge at different stages, evaluate the activated sludge and the whole biological treatment process, and analyze the wastewater discharged after purification treatment.
Sludge concentration sensor detection is based on the attenuation of the transmission and scattering of infrared light in the sludge and suspended matter related to the concentration of suspended matter in the liquid. The infrared light sent by the transmitter on the sensor is absorbed, reflected and scattered by the measured object during transmission, and only a small part of the light can be irradiated on the detector. The transmittance of the transmitted light has a certain relationship with the concentration of the measured sewage. Therefore, the concentration of the sewage can be calculated by measuring the transmittance of the transmitted light.

It is suitable for water supply plant (sedimentation tank), paper mill (pulp concentration), coal washing plant (sedimentation tank), power plant (mortar sedimentation tank), sewage treatment plant (inlet, outlet, aeration tank, return sludge, primary sedimentation tank, thickening tank, sludge dewatering) and other occasions.
