LQM810 series integrated/split electromagnetic flowmeter can not only measure the volume flow of general conductive liquid, but also can be used to measure the volume flow of strong corrosive liquid such as strong acid and strong alkali and uniform liquid-solid two-phase suspension liquid such as mud, pulp and so on.
Measuring principle:
An electromagnetic flowmeter is a flowmeter that performs flow measurement according to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. When the conductor is cut in the magnetic field, the induced electric potential will be generated in the conductor. The magnitude of the induced electric potential is proportional to the effective length of the conductor in the magnetic field and the speed at which the conductor moves in the direction perpendicular to the magnetic field. Similarly, when the conductive fluid flows in the vertical direction in the magnetic field and cuts the magnetic induction force line, it will also generate an induced potential on the electrodes on both sides of the pipeline. Inside the electromagnetic flowmeter, there is an electromagnetic coil that generates a magnetic field, and electrodes for capturing electromotive force (voltage). It is because of this that electromagnetic flow meters can still measure flow when there seems to be nothing in the pipeline.
The advantage of electromagnetic flowmeter is that the pressure loss is very small and the flow range can be measured. The ratio of the maximum flow rate to the minimum flow rate is generally more than 20:1, the applicable industrial pipe diameter range is wide, the maximum is 3m, the output signal and the measured flow rate are linear, the accuracy is high, and the fluid flow rate of acid, alkali, salt solution, water, sewage, corrosive liquid and mud, pulp, etc. with conductivity ≥ 5 μs/cm can be measured.
