LQM820 series vortex flowmeter is a flow meter for measuring gas, steam or low viscosity liquid according to Karman vortex principle. Mainly used for industrial pipeline medium fluid flow measurement, such as gas, liquid, steam and other media.
Measuring principle:
Vortex flowmeter is the use of Karman vortex principle for flow measurement. When a column is vertically inserted into the measuring tube, the fluid passes through the two sides of the column to naturally alternately produce regular vortices, which are called Karman vortex streets. When d/D = 0.281 (D is the pipe diameter), the released vortex is the most stable. The release frequency of the vortex is related to the average velocity of the fluid flowing through the vortex generator and the characteristic width of the vortex generator.
