The online turbidity analyzer uses infrared monochromatic light scattering method and unique reference light technology to correct the effects of chromaticity and lens dirt. The turbidity of raw water or purified water can be measured on a filtration device at different places.
Measuring principle:
Turbidity is the performance of suspended matter in water on the light through the degree of obstruction, it includes the suspended matter of light scattering and solute molecules of light absorption. The turbidity of water is not only related to the content of suspended substances in water, but also to their size, shape and refractive index. Turbidity is usually suitable for the determination of natural water, drinking water and some industrial water quality.
The infrared light sent by the sensor transmitter is absorbed, reflected and scattered by the measured object in the transmission process, and a part of the scattered light can be irradiated on the detector. The light intensity received on the detector has a certain relationship with the turbidity of the measured sewage. Therefore, the turbidity of water quality can be calculated by measuring the intensity of scattered light.
Application occasions:
Widely used in waterworks (reservoirs, wells, clean water tanks, pre-filtration, post-filtration, sedimentation and effluent turbidity monitoring), industrial processes (production water, circulating water and other water quality monitoring), sewage treatment (water inlet, outlet water quality monitoring) and other occasions.
