    Measuring principle:

    Turbidity is the performance of suspended matter in water on the light through the degree of obstruction, it includes the suspended matter of light scattering and solute molecules of light absorption. The turbidity of water is not only related to the content of suspended substances in water, but also to their size, shape and refractive index. Turbidity is usually suitable for the determination of natural water, drinking water and some industrial water quality.

    The turbidimeter uses 90 ° scattering light method. After the white light sent by the light source is absorbed, reflected and scattered by the measured object during transmission, a part of the transmitted light can be irradiated on the detector in the direction of 180 °, and a part of the scattered light can be irradiated on the detector in the direction of 90 °. The light intensity received on the 180 ° and 90 ° direction detector has a certain relationship with the turbidity of the measured sewage, so the turbidity of the water quality can be calculated by measuring the intensity of the transmitted light or scattered light.

    Application occasions:

    Widely used in municipal tap water, industrial desalted water preparation, RO reverse osmosis water monitoring and other occasions.
