The online dissolved oxygen analyzer can select polarographic or fluorescence electrode according to the field situation, which is mainly used for the measurement of dissolved oxygen in sewage treatment, aquaculture, environmental testing, pharmacy, fermentation, power generation and other occasions.
Measuring principle:
Dissolved oxygen analysis measures the amount of oxygen dissolved in an aqueous solution. Oxygen is dissolved in water by ambient air, air flow and photosynthesis. The dissolved oxygen concentration is usually expressed in mg/L, or ppm. There are usually two methods for measuring dissolved oxygen, polarography and fluorescence. Polarographic electrodes require the instrument to input a voltage to polarize the electrodes. Since the applied voltage may take up to 15 minutes to stabilize, the polarographic electrode is usually preheated before use to ensure that the electrode is properly polarized. Fluorescence electrodes are based on the principle of quenching of active fluorescence by specific substances in physics, without membranes and electrolytes, so fluorescence electrodes are used without the "preheating" required for polarographic electrode polarization ".
For standard dissolved oxygen measurements, temperature affects the solubility and diffusion rate of oxygen, so temperature compensation must be performed.
Application occasions:
Widely used in sewage treatment (aeration tank, inlet and outlet), industrial production water, circulating water, boiler water, surface water monitoring and other occasions.
