The online CODuv analyzer is based on the principle of ultraviolet absorption method, no reagent, more economical and environmentally friendly, all-metal structure, with excellent stability, can be widely used in sewage, surface water, industrial circulating water for continuous detection of water quality organic matter, as well as the determination of tap water raw water organic pollution degree of the comprehensive evaluation index.
Measuring principle:
The instrument uses ultraviolet absorption method to measure the concentration of organic matter in water. Organic compounds containing conjugated double bonds or polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons absorb ultraviolet light when dissolved in water. Therefore, by measuring the degree of absorption of ultraviolet light at 254nm by these organic substances, the measurement result is expressed in a special absorption coefficient SAC254 as a physical quantity measuring the total amount of organic pollutants in water. The water quality organic detector realizes automatic turbidity compensation through a double-beam system, making the measurement results more accurate.
