Coincidentally, in order to ensure the realization of the goal of direct drinking of tap water, the Shenzhen Municipal Government has formulated drinking water quality standards that match the urban development goals. On May 1 this year, Shenzhen's "Drinking Water Quality Standard" (DB4403/T60-2020) was officially implemented. The standard includes 116 water quality indicators, including 52 regular indicators and 64 unconventional indicators.
Compared with the current national standard, Shenzhen's "drinking water quality standard" has increased 10 indicators and 52 indicators (including disinfectants); the appendix has increased from 28 to 45; the assessment method has improved the qualification rate requirements of factory water and pipe network water, increased the detection of odor substances and disinfection by-products, and focused on the quality of tap water.
With the continuous improvement of drinking water safety requirements, more and more online instruments and equipment are applied to drinking water quality supervision. On-line monitoring of drinking water quality, on the one hand, provides early warning of possible water quality exceeding the standard to prevent unqualified tap water from entering households; in addition, a large number of water quality data of the water supply network can also support the optimization of the water treatment process of the water plant and the pipe network Water dispatching decision.
In order to make the general public drink safer, more assured and high-quality drinking water, water companies and health regulatory agencies in many places have added water quality testing equipment, such as atomic absorption photometer, atomic fluorescence photometer, gas chromatography, ion chromatography and other modern analytical instruments and other regular testing equipment, which not only promote the improvement of water quality testing technology, but also ensure the safety of drinking water.
Ensuring the safety of drinking water is a long-term task. With the country's continuous attention to drinking water safety, drinking water quality standards continue to be strict, water quality monitoring instruments and equipment investment continues to increase, drinking water sanitation and safety "dams" will be built.
